1. Staff mix by rank is consistent with the NUC BMAS in only one cadre (Professor ).
2.Library books are inadequate as some books were borrowed.
3.Academic staff offices do not have bookshelves, file cabinets and window blinds.
4. Only 65% of Academic staff has PhD
5. No non-teaching benefited from Staff Development.

 

1. The University should be consistent with the staff mix by rank as specified in the BMAS.
2. The University should procure more books for the library.
3. Academic staff offices should be provided with bookshelves ,file cabinets and window blinds.
4. All Academic staff should be encouraged to have a degree in PhD.
5. Non-teaching staff should benefit from Staff Development .

 

The total score for the programme is 78.51%. It scored 24.5 (87.50%)  in Academic Matters, 27 (68%) in Staffing, 21 (77.77%) in Physical Facilities, 13.5 (75.00%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 2.5 (83.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
