2. The University should engage an experienced external examiner.
3. The University should fully implement the student course evaluation.
4. The University should organise induction training for newly appointed HODs.
5. The University should replace broken down furniture and upgrade.
6. The University should apply a multidisciplinary approach to research collaboration.
7. The University should make adequate provision for funds.

 

The total score for the programme is 88.99%. It scored 29 (90.63%)  in Academic Matters, 31 (88.57%) in Staffing, 14.5 (90.63%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 2.5 (83.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
