REMEDIES

1. The University curriculum course ENG126 (General Agric I) should
bear the code for Agriculture.

2. The innovation courses are inadequate in number as stipulate in
NUC BMAS/CCMAS

3. The standard of test and examination did not cover the curriculum.

4. There was block marking in the evaluation of student’s work.

5. The quality assurance is not effective.

6. The Library holding are inadequate in number.

 

1. The University should ensure ENG126 set (General Agric I) should
bear the code for Agriculture.

2. The University should add more innovation courses.

3. The University should ensure standard test and examination should
cover the curriculum.

4. The University should ensure there is no block marking.

5. The university should ensure the quality assurance is effective

6. The university should prove adequate library holdings.

 

The total score for the programme is 88.00%. It scored 30 (81%)  in Academic Matters, 35 (100%) in Staffing, 23.5 (87%) in Physical Facilities, 16.5 (92%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (67%) in Funding, 2 (67%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
