1.The workshop building is not completed and ractical works conducted are not of good quality;
2. GPSand Digital cameras are not adequate for the programme;

3. Only 20% of the academic staff have benefited from staff development programme in the last three years;
4. Only 25% of the non-academic staff have benefited from staff development programme in the last three years;
5. Staff offices are not adequate in space;
6. Funding is not adequate for the programme.

 

1. There should be a standard workshop and good quality practical works for the programme;
2. The university should ensure the provision of adiquate equipment such as GPS and Digital cameras for the programme;
3. At least 70% or more of the academic staff should benefit from staff development programme;
4. At least 70% or more of the non-academic staff should benefit from staff development programme:
5. Staff offices should be adequate in space and well furnished;
6. Adequate funds should be provided for the programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 84.03%. It scored 29 (88%)  in Academic Matters, 29 (83%) in Staffing, 19 (70.37%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
