1.Practical works conducted, were of good quality but did not cover the curriculum. 2.The teacher to student ratio of 1: 29.89 is not in line with provisions of the BMAS/CCMAS of 1 : 20. 3.68.4% of the academic staff have a Ph.D. 4.All non-academic staff have not benefited from staff development programme. 5.Library holdings are only very current in journals and not very current in textbooks. Funding for the programme is adequate.

1.The University should ensure that students conduct more practicals to cover the curriculum. 2.The University should recruit more academic staff.. 3.All academic staff should be encouraged to obtain a Ph.D. 4.All staff should be encouraged to benefit from staff development programme. 5.More recent textbooks should be procured for the programme. The University should ensure very adequate funding for the programme.

The total score for the programme is 90.08%. It scored 31 (93.94%) in Academic Matters, 28 (80.00%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of FULL accreditation status for the Programme
