REMEDIES

1. Basic Thermodynamics MEE206 is only offered in two hundred level.
2. Material Science and Metallurgy is loped up.
3. There is no provision of conveniences in the professorial offices.
4. The staff mix by rank is top heavy.

 

1.The university should split MEE206 to be also offered in three hundred level.
2. The university should spread Material Science and Metallurgy into three parts in two credits unit each.
3. The university should provide conveniences in the professorial offices.
4. The university should recruit more lecturer 1 and below.

 

The total score for the programme is 87.20%. It scored 32 (86.49%)  in Academic Matters, 34 (94%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.33%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
