The were no projectors in most of the classrooms, especially the lecture theatre.
The fire extinguishers in the libraries had expired all expired.
Internet connectivity on campus is not too strong.
The number staff that benefitted from staff development across board is too low.
The Professorial offices have no television and toilet facilities.

 

The University should acquire more projectors for the classrooms.
The University should renew the expired fire extinguishers for the library.
The University should also improve on the internet hotspot on campus to improve on network access.
The University should improve on the staff development across-board.
The University should endeavor to provide television and toilet facilities in the Professorial offices.

 

The total score for the programme is 80.80%. It scored 31 (85%)  in Academic Matters, 33 (94%) in Staffing, 19 (70%) in Physical Facilities, 13 (72%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (34%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
