1. Inadequate laboratory equipment

1. The University should provide adequate laboratory equipment for the programme such as X-ray machine for the Department of Surgery and Radiology, Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer for the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, Modern ultrasound in the small animal surgery clinic

The total score for the programme is 85.94%. It scored 35 (95.00%) in Academic Matters, 32.5 (93.00%) in Staffing, 19.25 (71.30%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.33%) in Library. The programme scored 1.5 (50.00%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 1.17 (59.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
B. APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION
Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of FULL accreditation status for the Programme
