REMEDIES

1. There is no learning outcome for each course in the curriculum

2. The marking is subjective.

3. The Professorial cadre is below 20% (16.6), while the Senior Lecturer cadre is slightly short of NUC ratio (33.3). The lower cadre is above 45% which is (50).

 

1. The learning outcome for each course should be added in the curriculum.
2. In order to check mate subjective marking, co-marking should be encouraged for objective purpose.
3. The University should be consistent with NUC guidelines in all categories.

 

The total score for the programme is 95.00%. It scored 34.75 (93.92%)  in Academic Matters, 32 (91%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
