1. The panel observe that only 67% of the lecturers are specialized in pure chemistry. 2. The panel observed that there is no NMR machine in the laboratory 3. 58% of the academic staff have not benefited from the Staff Development Programme.

1. The panel recommend that more pure chemistry lecturers should be employed by the university authority. 2. The Panel recommend the acquisition of NMR machine in the laboratory to compliment available equipment in other to aid research and development. 3. The University should ensure that all academic staff benefit from the Staff Development Programme.

The total score for the programme is 87.20%. It scored 34 (91.89%) in Academic Matters, 28 (80.00%) in Staffing, 24 (88.89%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
