1. 25% of the teaching staff were not from the parent
university.
2. Non- teaching staff didn’t benefit from staff development
programme.
3. Non- Inclusion of additional/ innovative courses in the
curriculum.
4. There was no supervision from the parent university.
5. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

 

1. The university should make sure that 25% of the teaching
staff come from the parent university.
2. All teaching staff should benefit from staff development.
3. The University should ensure that at least four innovative
courses are added in the curriculum.
4. Parent university should improve in supervision.
5. The programme should be adequately funded.

 

The total score for the programme is 92.08%. It scored 34 (91.89%)  in Academic Matters, 33.7 (84.25%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library, in academic matters, staffing, physical facilities and library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
