Only 61.1% of academic staff have a PhD degree. Staff development of academic and non-academic staff is very poor Equipment in classrooms is deficient Physical journals in the library should are not current. Environmental sanitation of the department is poor and there are not enough sand buckets and fire extinguishers.

The total score for the programme is 84.80%. It scored 34.5 (93.24%) in Academic Matters, 26 (74.29%) in Staffing, 21 (77.78%) in Physical Facilities, 17.5 (97.22%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
