i. The faculty does not have internal quality assurance system.

ii. Below 50% of the teaching staff and non-teaching staff of the department have benefitted from staff development programme.

iii. Inadequate number and functionality of equipment in the classrooms and staff offices

iv. The Moot court is inadequate in space.

v. Inadequate Library holdinngs of current reference books and journals

 

i. The faculty should have in place an internal quality assurance system.
ii. The university should sponsor at least 70% of their staff in the department on staff development programme .
iii. The number of equipment in the staff offices and classrooms should be adequate and functional.
iv. The space of the moot court should be adequate .
v. The university should provide current and adequate number of books and journals.

 

The total score for the programme is 66.67%. It scored 23 (82.14%)  in Academic Matters, 26 (74.29%) in Staffing, 11 (40.74%) in Physical Facilities, 12 (66.67%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored less than 70% in any of the four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme
