1. only 2 out of 12 Academic staff benefitted from the staff development program{16%}.
2. there’s no hardware ad networking laborating.
3.most of the equipment’s required in the laboratories are not available. e.g Oscilloscope, multimeter, Air wooers, cripping tool, routers etc.
4. there are only two {2} dedicated classrooms f and one 1 shared theater class for the programme.
5.There’s no evidence of public address system and projectors in the classrooms.
6. staff offices are not equipped and there’s no bookshelves, file cabinets, white boards, fridge etc. Some senior lecturers are sharing offices.
7.they are no books on the following areas; 1. computer construction 2. software Enineering 3. Aritficial thledepace 4. programming languages etc

 

1. the University should ensure that all Academic staff benefited from the staff development programe.
2. the University should provide hardware ad networking in the laborating.
3. the University should provide all the necessary equipment’s for the programe available in the laboratory.
4. More dedicated classrooms are needed for the programme.
5.University should provide public address system and projectors for the programme.
6.The University should equip the staff offices to be well furnished and stop the senior lecturers from sharing offices.
7. The University should ensure that they provide all the necessary books in the library for the programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 67.48%. It scored 25 (71.43%)  in Academic Matters, 30 (86%) in Staffing, 15 (55.56%) in Physical Facilities, 10 (55.56%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 0 (0.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored less than 70% in any of the four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme
