1. The curriculum contains only two innovative courses.

2. 33.3% of the non-teaching staff have not benefited from staff development programme.

3. Access to available e-books and e-journals for staff and student is available only to campus hotspots and intranet.

4. Funding for the programme is not very adequate.

5. Research and Collaborations does not exist for the programme.

 

1. The University should ensure that the curriculum is enriched by the addition of at least four innovative courses without exceeding the maximum credit load.

2. The University should ensure that all non-teaching staff benefit from the staff development programme.
3. The University should provide more access to available e-books and e-journals to internet and library website.

4. The programme should be adequately funded.

5. The University should encourage academic staff and students of the programme to collaborate and developed project/research that would serve the host community

 

The total score for the programme is 91.38%. It scored 28 (93.33%)  in Academic Matters, 34 (97%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.3%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 0 (0.00%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
