1.There is no Internal Quality Assurance System for the Programme.
2. 38% of the academic staff does not have PhD
3. 31% of the academic staff have not benefited from staff development programme.
4. 33% of the non- academic staff have not benefited from staff development programme.
5. There were no sand buckets and the environment is not tidy.
6. Text books and Journals for the programme is inadequate in number.

 

1. The university should constitute Quality assurance Committee for the Programme.
2. The university should ensure that all academic staff have PhD.
3. The university should ensure that all academic staff benefit from the staff development programme.
4. The university should ensure that all non- academic staff benefit from the staff development programme.
5.The university should provide sand buckets and ensure a clean and tidy environment.
6. The university should provide adequate books and journals for the programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 86%. It scored 34 (90.89%)  in Academic Matters, 30 (86%) in Staffing, 22 (82%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (67%) in Funding, 2 (67%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
