1. 44% of the Academic staff have not benefitted from the Staff Development.
2. 37% of Non-Academic staff have not benefited from the Staff development.
3. 23% of academic staff do not have Ph.D.
4. There are only 6 Technologist for 7 laboratories/Workshops

 

1. The University should ensure that all academic Staff benefit from staff development
2. The University should ensure that all non-academic Staff benefit from staff development
3. The University should ensure that all academic staff are encouraged to have their Ph.D.
4. The University should employ more technologist and Technicians for the laboratories and workshops.

 

The total score for the programme is 91.20%. It scored 34 (91.89%)  in Academic Matters, 29 (82%) in Staffing, 27 (100.00%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
