1. Marks were not allocated on some sampled questions papers and marking schemes. 2. Practical works carried out by students did not cover some of the topics. 3. Internal quality assurance committee is not effective as there was no minute of meetings. 4. The hardware laboratory does not have breadboard, soldering iron and oscilloscope. 5. Staff offices of the senior lecturers and above lack shelves, whiteboards and refrigerators.

1. The university should ensure that marks are appropriately allocated on all questions papers and marking schemes. 2. The university should ensure that practical works cover all topics in the curriculum. 3. The university should ensure the regular meeting and effectiveness of internal quality assurance committee. 4. The university should equip the hardware laboratory with breadboard, soldering iron and oscilloscope. 5. The university should provide shelves, whiteboards and refrigerators in staff offices.

The total score for the programme is 87.60%. It scored 27 (81.82%) in Academic Matters, 34 (97%) in Staffing, 21 (77.78%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
