1. Practicals conducted are not of good quality and do not cover the curriculum.
2. 46.7% of the academic staff have not benefitted from staff development.
3. 66.3% of the Non-academic staff have not benefitted from staff development.
4. Funding for the programme is inadequate.
5. The School Environment is not well maintained in terms of sanitation

 

1. The University should ensure that Practicals conducted cover the depth and scope of the curriculum.
2. The University should ensure that all academic staff benefits for staff development programme.
3. The University should ensure that all non-academic staff benefits from staff development programme.
4. The programme should be adequately funded.
5. The University should ensure proper maintenance and sanitation of the environment.

 

The total score for the programme is 82.00%. It scored 31 (83.78%)  in Academic Matters, 26 (74.3%) in Staffing, 26 (96.30%) in Physical Facilities, 13.5 (75.00%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
