1. There are no innovative courses mounted for B.Sc. Biology
2. The students are not adequately familiar with the hard and soft skills
3. 0% of the non-teaching staff benefited from Development e programm
4. Equipment such as Manual Centrifuge, stereo microscope and water quality test kit are not available in the Biology LAB.
5. Staff offices are not adequately furnished with white board
6. The e-Library has only one data base
7. Funding is grossly inadequate.

 

1. The University should ensure that innovative courses are mounted in the programme

3. The University should ensure staff Development programme across the staff
4. The University should provide the Equipment such as Manual Centrifuge, stereo microscope and water quality test kit in the Biology LAB.

The total score for the programme is 82.82%. It scored 28 (80%)  in Academic Matters, 31 (88%) in Staffing, 23 (85%) in Physical Facilities, 13 (72.2%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.3%) in Funding, 3 (100%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
