1. There are no innovative courses mounted for B.Sc. Chemistry
2. The students are not adequately familiar with the hard and soft skills
3. 0% of the nonteaching staff benefited from Development programme.
4. Equipment such as GCMS, FTIR and NMR are not available in the chemistry LAB.
5. Staff offices are not adequately furnished with white board
6. The e- Library has only one data base.
7. Funding is grossly inadequate.

 

1. The University should ensure that Innovative are mounted in the programme.
2. The University should ensure that students are encouraged to be more inquisitive
3. The University should ensure staff Development program across the staff.
4. The University should provide the Equipment such as GCMS, FTIR and NMR in the Chemistry LAB.
5. The University should ensure staff officers are well furnished
6. The University should ensure more data base in the e-Library.
7. The University should ensure more funding for the programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 80.49%. It scored 30 (81%)  in Academic Matters, 29 (82%) in Staffing, 23 (85%) in Physical Facilities, 13 (72.22%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
