1.Staff offices are not adequately furnished with standard chairs, tables, book shelves, file cabinets, tv sets and refrigerators.
2. The University library lacked hard copies of foreign journals.
3. The University lacked equipment such as AAS, FTIR, GC-MS in the departmental laboratories.
4. The over all environmental sanitation is poor.

 

1. The University should ensure that staff offices are well furnished with standard chairs, tables, book shelves, file cabinets tv sets and refrigerators (Professor’s offices).
2. The University should ensure that hard copies of foreign journals are made available in the library.
3. The University should make available AAS, FTIR, GC-MS equipment in the departmental laboratories.
4. The University should ensure the campus premises is neatly kept,

 

The total score for the programme is 92.00%. It scored 37 (100.00%)  in Academic Matters, 33 (94.29%) in Staffing, 20 (74.07%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
