1. 60% of the academic staff and 71% of the non-academic staff have not benefitted from the staff development programme 2. 6.9% of the academic staff do not have Ph.D degree. 3. Practical conducted did not cover the curriculum in the area of building services such as electricity in a building, water supply and liquid waste discharge. 4. The laboratory for the programme does not have the following equipment specified in the BMAS such as standard service equipment (electrical and plumbing appliances) and some first aid facilities. 5. Equipment such as public address system is not available in the lecture theatre and some white boards in the studios are not well maintained.

1. The University should ensure that all academic and non-academic staff benefit from the staff development programme. 2. All academic staff should be encouraged to obtain Ph.D degree. 3. The University should ensure that the practicals conducted cover the curriculum. 4. All essential laboratory equipment should be provided for the programme in line with BMAS 5. All essential classroom equipment should be provided in line with the BMAS and well maintained.

The total score for the programme is 83.2%. It scored 37 (91.9%) in Academic Matters, 35 (80%) in Staffing, 27 (74.7%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (88.9%) in Library. The programme scored 3 (66.6%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (50%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
