5. Classrooms are inadequate in number
and not well maintained.

inadequate in number.

1. The University should ensure that practical works covers the curriculum.

2. University should ensure to have effective internal quality assurance system.

3. The University should ensure that all
academic staff benefit from the Staff
Development Programme.

4. The University should ensure that all non-
academic staff benefit from the Staff
Development Programme.

5. Adequate number of well-maintained
classrooms should be provided for the
programme.

6. Adequate number of fire extinguishers
and sand buckets should be provided
for the programme.

7. The programme should be adequately
funded.

 

The total score for the programme is 79.67%. It scored 31 (83.78%)  in Academic Matters, 26 (74%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 1 (33.33%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
