REMEDIES

1) some courses where omitted in the cadet handbook
2) The tracer system and quality assurance was not put in place
3) Laboratory equipment meet the BMAS specifications, however no constant availability of water supply and alternative to power source.
4) There is adequate classes but not well maintained, no projector smart board, and internet connectivity
5) Office accommodation for staff are adequate and shared however, no bookshelves/cabinets, fan/air conditioners etc
6) Relative safe environment with sand bucket and fire extinguisher in place however, no functional toilets and running water both for the students and staff

 

1) Omitted courses be incorporated into the cadet handbook
2) The tracer and quality assurance should be effective in the academy
3) Water supply and alternative power source should be made available

4) The classrooms should well maintained and provided with projectors, smart board and internet connectivity
5) Office accommodation should be well furnished for staff
6) The school should provide functional toilets and running water for the students toilets and staff. No lights in all the toilets.

 

The total score for the programme is 74.40%. It scored 27 (72.97%)  in Academic Matters, 24 (68.57%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
