1. The University i has not commenced the implementation of Core Curriculum Minimum Academic Standards (CCMAS). 2. The curriculum contains only three innovative courses. 3. 37.5% of the academic staff and all the non-teaching staff have not benefitted from the staff development programme of the University in the past three years. 4.Education Technology equipment such as Computers, Interactive Whiteboard, 3D printers and Scanners are not available in the Micro- teaching Laboratory. 5. Some academic staff offices are not equipped with bookshelves. 6.Books in the Physical Library are inadequate in currency 7. Funding for the programme is inadequate. 8. There is no evidence of multidisciplinary approach to research by the academic staff and students.

1. The University is advised to start the implementation of CCMAS at 100 and 200 levels. 2. The University should ensure that the curriculum is enriched by the addition of at least four innovative courses without exceeding the maximum credit load. 3. The University should ensure that all the academic and non-teaching staff benefit from the Staff Development Programme. 7. The programme should be adequately funded. The academic staff and students should be encourage to apply multi-disciplinary approach to research.

The total score for the programme is 89.60%. It scored 36 (97.30%) in Academic Matters, 31 (88.57%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of FULL accreditation status for the Programme
