1. The curriculum has less than three innovative courses for the programme.
2. Office accommodation is inadequate in space and Professorial offices are not well Furnish
3. Professional journals are inadequate for the programme.
4. 39% of Academic staff have not benefited from staff development programme.
5. Funding for the programme is inadequate .

 

1. The University should ensure that there four innovative courses are introduced for the programme.
2. The University should ensure that offices are spacious and professorial offices should be well furnished for the programme.
3. More current professional journals should be Procured for the programme
4. The University should ensure that all Academic staff benefit from staff development programme.
5. The programme should be adequately funded.

 

The total score for the programme is 93.08%. It scored 34 (91.89%)  in Academic Matters, 38 (95.00%) in Staffing, 25 (92.59%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library, in academic matters, staffing, physical facilities and library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
