1. No additional/ innovative courses in the curriculum.

2. Office accommodations are adequate in space, well-furnished but do not have whiteboard, bookshelves and file cabinets.

3. Environmental sanitation is poor, water supply to the department is inadequate.

4. The currency of the holdings in journals are inadequate for the programme.

5. The internet connectivity at the library is weak.

6. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

7. There is no evidence of research programme created to serve the host community.

 

1. The University should include additional/ innovative courses in the curriculum.

2. The university should ensure that they provide whiteboards, bookshelves and file cabinets for the staff.

3. The University should ensure that supply of water is improved upon.

4. More current journals should be procured for the library.

5. The university should increase the bandwidth for a faster internet connectivity.
6. More funds should be provided for the programme.

7. The university should ensure that a research programme is created to serve the host community.

 

The total score for the programme is 89.23%. It scored 34 (91.89%)  in Academic Matters, 40 (100.00%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.33%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library, in academic matters, staffing, physical facilities and library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
