1. The Internal Quality Assurance (IQA) system is not effective at the departmental level as meetings are not regularly held. 2. 50% of the academic staff have not obtained Ph.D degree. 3. 40% of the academic staff have not benefitted from Staff Development Programme in the past three years. 4. The drawing tables in the studios are obsolete. 5. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

1. The University should ensure that meetings are regularly held and adequately documented. 2. All academic staff should be encouraged to obtain Ph.D degree. 3. The University should ensure that all academic staff benefit from Staff Development Programme. 4. The University should provide modern drawing tables in the studios. 5. The programme should be adequately funded.

The total score for the programme is 88.40%. It scored 36.5 (98.65%) in Academic Matters, 27.0 (77.14%) in Staffing, 22.0 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 18.0 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2.0 (66.67%) in Funding, 3.0 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2.0 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
