1. The academic regulation is not well publicized.
2. Test and Examination does not cover the curriculum.
3. The non=academic staff have not benefited in the staff development programme.
4. The staff offices were not adequately furnished.
5. The safety equipments are fairly adequate in number.
6. The Physical books are fairly adequate in number.
7. There was only one active subsription to database.

 

1. The university should ensure that the academic regulation is well publicized.
2. The University should ensure that curriculum for the programme is adequately covered.
3. The University should ensure that the non=academic staff benefit from the staff development programme.
4. The University should ensure that the staff offices are furnished with air-conditioners, fans,book shelf, mordern tables and chairs.
5. The University shoul provide fire extinguisher around thelibrary and classrooms.
6. The University should procure more physical books written by local authors.
7. the University should ensure the subscribe to more than one database.

 

The total score for the programme is 78.6%. It scored 28 (78.5%)  in Academic Matters, 35 (82%) in Staffing, 16 (81.2%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (72.2%) in Library. The programme scored 3 (66.6%) in Funding, 3 (66.6%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
