1. The practical work is not adequate as a computational approach in modern situations was neglected.

2. 28.6% of the teaching staff do not have PhD degrees

3. Non of the non-teaching staff has benefited from staff development programme within the last 3 years.

4. Necessary software like MATHLAB, SPSS were not installed for the program.
5. there is no multidisciplinary research and collaboration

 

1. The university should ensure that practical work is adequately covered.
2. The university should ensure that all teaching staff posses PhD degrees.
3. The University should ensure 70% or more of the non-teaching staff benefits from staff development program
4. The University should ensure that necessary software were installed for the program.
5. The program should engage in multidescplinary approach of research

 

The total score for the programme is 86.15%. It scored 30 (81.08%)  in Academic Matters, 38 (95.00%) in Staffing, 24 (88.89%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.33%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library, in academic matters, staffing, physical facilities and library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
