1. The Institution should ensure the provision of more safety equipment such as smoke detectors, fire extinguishers and sand buckets in and around the Mass Communication studios and other areas. 2. There is need for female academic staff to be enlisted in the programme for gender parity. 3. The Institution should ensure all non-academic staff benefit from staff development programme. 4. The Institution should provide spacious and well-furnished office accommodation for staff. 5. The Institution should make adequate provision for procurement of smart boards, public address system and other learning made easy gadgets. 6. The institution should provide more funding for the progamme

The total score for the programme is 90.68%. It scored 28 (100.00%) in Academic Matters, 40 (100.00%) in Staffing, 16 (66.67%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored less than 70% in any of the four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended INTERIM accreditation status for the Programme.
