1. The curriculum does not contain any additional innovative courses.

2. The ratio of the teaching staff core to the programme provides for 72,7% of the eaching staff need.
3 .36.4% of the academic staff have not benefitted from Staff Development Programme.
4. Academic staff offices are inadequate in space.
5. Physical library books are inaadequate in number and coverage.

 

1.The University should ensure that the curriculum is enriched by the addition of at least four innovative courses without exceeding the maximum credit load.
2. The University should ensure that the ratio of teaching staff core to the subject area provides for 75% or more of the teaching staff need.
3. The Uiversity should ensure that all acdemic staff benefits from Staff Development Programme.
4. Standard {spacious} offices should be provided for the programme.
5. More books should be procured to cover the various relevant areas of the programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 89.08%. It scored 30 (90.91%)  in Academic Matters, 31 (88.57%) in Staffing, 25 (92.59%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
