1) 33% of the Academic Staff have no PhD Qualification

2) 20% of the Academic Staff have not benefited from staff development programme

3) Only 2 out of 15 Academic Staff have degree qualification in Primary Education

 

1) All Academic Staff of the programme should be encouraged to have PhD qualification

2) All Academic Staff of the programme should benefit from staff development programme

3) The University should recruit more academic staff with qualification and experience in Primary Education

 

The total score for the programme is 92.73%. It scored 23 (95.83%)  in Academic Matters, 31 (88.57%) in Staffing, 25 (92.59%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
