1. Students’ projects have words on the cover page that are not supposed to be there i.e. ” in partial fulfillment for the award of degree”.
2. The laboratories are not wide and spacious enough.
3. Firefighting equipment are not adequate.
4. Staffing appears to be top heavy.

2. The Laboratories should be relocated to the new building of the nursing Department.
3.. Firefighting equipment should be adequately provided.
4. the University should employ more lectures at the lower cadre, i.e. Lecturer I and II

 

The total score for the programme is 92.80%. It scored 34 (91.89%)  in Academic Matters, 33 (94%) in Staffing, 25 (92.59%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
