1. The Philosophy and Objectives are verbose and not well articulated. 2. Marking schemes are not well-developed as bloc marking was observed in some marking schemes. 3. External examiner’s reports are not comprehensive and not detailed. 4. 31.2% of the academic staff do not have Ph.D. degree. 5. 42.9% of the academic staff and 53.8% of the non-teaching staff have not benefitted from Staff Development Programme in the past three years. 6. The Moot Court is not equipped with law reports, Laws of Delta State and Laws of the Federation, while the Law Clinic lacks projector. 7. Some of the fans and light bulbs in the classrooms are not functional. 8. Physical library journals are inadequate in currency. 9. Access to the e-library resources outside the library complex is limited. 10. Funding is inadequate for the programme

1. Philosophy and Objectives should be very well-articulated in line with those stated in the NUC BMAS/CCMAS for the programme. 2. Marking schemes should be well-developed and applied in the grading of students work, and bloc marking discouraged. 3. The reports of external examiners should comprise the level of compliance with guidelines and the quality of the assessment and evaluation of students. 4. The University should encourage all academic staff to obtain Ph.D. degree. 5. The University should ensure that all staff benefit from Staff Development Programme. 6. The Moot Court and Law Clinic should be properly equipped with reference texts and a projector, respectively. 7. Functional fans and light bulbs should be installed to improve ventilation and illumination. 8. More current journals should be acquired for the programme. 9. Internet Hotspots should be extended to other academic buildings for ease of access to e-resources. 10. The programme should be adequately funded.

The total score for the programme is 82.11%. It scored 32 (86.49%) in Academic Matters, 27 (77.14%) in Staffing, 23 (85.19%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.33%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the total score of less than 60%, the Panel recommended DENIED accreditation status for the Programme.
