1. Students tested to assess the level of skills acquired across different stages of the programme demonstrated good proficiency in both hard and soft skills relevant to the programme. 2. The staff mix by rank of 41.6;50;16.60 does not meet the NUC requirement in any categories. 3. The University provided adequate laboratory equipment for the programme. However, project, 2-way mirror and Sigmund Freud chair should be made available for the programme. 4. The physical library holdings and currency are of good quality. However, journals were inadequate in number. 5. Funding of the programme is inadequate. 6. There is no multidisciplinary approach to research.

1. The University should ensure that students demonstrate a high level of proficiency in both hard and soft skills relevant to the programme. 2. The staff mix by rank should align fully with the categories prescribed by the NUC BMAS guidelines. 3. The University should endeavour to provide all essential laboratory equipment for the programme. 4. The University should procure more journals to support the programme. 5. The programme should be adequately funded. 6. The University should ensure a multidisciplinary approach to research in the programme.

The total score for the programme is 92.68%. It scored 33 (94.29%) in Academic Matters, 33 (94.29%) in Staffing, 25 (92.59%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
