1. Practicals conducted are inadequate because of lack of some laboratory equipment such as hospitality and bed making accessories and ethnic costumes. 2. The tourism village is small 3. The tourism laboratory does not have a mini bedroom and front desk to teach students that component of hospitality. 4. Some desks and window louvres in one of the classrooms are broken. 5. There is subscription for only one paid database in the e-library.

1. A well-equipped hospitality laboratory should be provided to enable students conduct adequate practicals. 2. The space available for the village should be developed and more huts provided. 3. A purpose-built tourism laboratory should be made available for the programme 4. Broken desks and window louvres in the classrooms should be repaired or replaced. 5. The university should subscribe to at least 2 paid databases for the programme.

The total score for the programme is 90.84%. It scored 31 (93.94%) in Academic Matters, 35 (100.00%) in Staffing, 21.6 (80.00%) in Physical Facilities, 15.5 (86.11%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
