1. 37.5% of the academic staff are not core to the subject area.
2. No non-teaching staff has benefited from staff development programme.
3. Textbooks and Journals are inadequate in currency.

 

1. More academic staff core to the subject area should be recruited.
2. The College should ensure that all staff (non-teaching) benefit from staff development programme.
3. The College should procure very current textbooks and journals.

 

The total score for the programme is 85.71%. It scored 32 (96.97%)  in Academic Matters, 34 (85.00%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.33%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library, in academic matters, staffing, physical facilities and library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
