1. The curriculum contains less than four innovative courses. 2. The ratio of teaching staff core to the programme, provided for only 60 % of the teaching staff need. 3. The staff mix by rank of 21.43:42.86:35.71 does not meet the NUC approved guidelines for the discipline in two categories. 4. Funding for the programme is not very adequate.

1. The University should ensure that the curriculum is enriched by the addition of at least four innovative courses without exceeding the maximum credit load. 3. The University should ensure a staff mix by rank of 20:35:45 in line with the NUC approved guidelines. 4. The programme should be adequately funded.

The total score for the programme is 93.28%. It scored 32 (96.97%) in Academic Matters, 31 (88.57%) in Staffing, 26 (96.30%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
