1. The programme contains only three innovative courses.

2. 34.6% of the academic staff have not benefited from Staff
Development Programme.

3. Homogenizer High Performance Liquid Chromatography is not
available in the laboratory.

4. Physical library books and journals are inadequate in number.

5. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

 

1. The university should ensure that the curriculum is enriched by the
addition of at lease four innovative courses without exceeding the
maximum credit load.

2. The University should ensure that all academic Staff benefit from
Staff Development Programme

3. The University should ensured that all essential laboratory Equipment
are provided for the programme.

4. More physical library books and journals should be procured for the
programme.

5. The programme should be adequately funded.

 

The total score for the programme is 86.99%. It scored 32 (91.43%)  in Academic Matters, 32 (91.43%) in Staffing, 23 (85.19%) in Physical Facilities, 14 (77.78%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
