1. The curriculum contains three innovative courses.

2. 44.5% of the academic staff do not have Ph.D. degree.

3. 84.2% of the non-teaching staff have not benefitted from Staff Development Programme.

4. Academic staff offices are inadequate in space.

 

1. The University should ensure that the curriculum is enriched by the addition of at least four innovative courses without exceeding the maximum credit load

2. The University should encourage all academic staff to obtain Ph.D. degree.

3. The University should ensure that all non-teaching staff benefit from Staff Development Programme.

4. Standard (spacious) academic staff offices should be provided for the programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 90.83%. It scored 30 (93.75%)  in Academic Matters, 29 (82.86%) in Staffing, 25 (92.59%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
