1. Industrial training /field trips do not adequately cover the curriculum.

2. All non-academic staff have not benefitted from staff development
programme.

3. Classrooms are inadequate in number.

4. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

 

1. The University should ensure that industrial training/ field trip cover the
curriculum.

2. The University should encourage all non-teaching staff to take
advantage of its staff development programme.

3. More classrooms should be provided for the programme.

4. The programme should be adequately funded.

 

The total score for the programme is 88.60%. It scored 32 (86.49%)  in Academic Matters, 33 (94.29%) in Staffing, 14 (87.50%) in Physical Facilities, 15 (83.33%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
