1. Interaction between the panel members and students of the programme reveals the students have not acquired the relevant hard and soft skills expected of or prescribed for their levels.

2. There is no office for the technologist in the laboratory.

3. The slow internet connectivity impedes access to e-books and journals by students and staff of the programme

 

1. The University should ensure that the practical work conducted is of good quality and covers depth and scope of the curriculum.

2. The University should ensure that a well-equipped office be provided for the Technologist in the laboratory.

3. The University should ensure that internet connectivity is improved upon,

 

The total score for the programme is 92.44%. It scored 31 (93.94%)  in Academic Matters, 35 (100.00%) in Staffing, 24 (88.89%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 0 (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
