1. Students’ degree projects are not consistent in style of writing/reporting. 2. Students’ practical work does not cover laboratory/studio in 500 level. 3. The ratio/proportion of teaching staff core to the programme provides for only 67.7% of the teaching staff need. 4. Sand buckets are inadequate in number. 5. Physical library books and journals are inadequate in currency.

1. The University should ensure that students’ degree projects are properly supervised and style of writing/reporting consistent. 2. The University should ensure that students’ practical work adequately cover the curriculum. 3. The University should ensure that the ratio/proportion of teaching staff core to the programme provides for 75% or more of the teaching staff need. 4. More sand buckets should be provided for the programme and strategically located. 5. More current physical library books and journals should be procured for the programme.

The total score for the programme is 88.80%. It scored 33 (89.19%) in Academic Matters, 32.5 (93%) in Staffing, 23 (85.19%) in Physical Facilities, 15.5 (86.11%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
