1. The programme does not have innovation courses added to it

2. Test and Continuous Assessment, practical manual and log books for the programme are not consistent.

3. Marking scheme for the programme needs to be type

4. Staff development for the Programme is been under utilised

5. Funding for the programme is inadequate.

 

1. The University should add innovative courses to the programme such as safety and disaster management, climate change and recreational studies.
2. The University should ensure that test continuous assessment practical the manual such as log books should be consistent

3. The University should ensure that marking scheme for the programme is type
4 More academic and Non-academic staff should be encouraged to go for more training on their job

5 The programme should be adequately funded

 

The total score for the programme is 87.2%. It scored 37 (97.3%)  in Academic Matters, 35 (80%) in Staffing, 27 (88.9%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (88.9%) in Library. The programme scored 3 (66.6%) in Funding, 3 (100%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100%) in Employers’ Rating. the Panel recommended  accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  accreditation status for the Programme
