1. The ratio/proportion of teaching staff core to the programme provides for only 73.8% of the teaching staff need. 2. The staff mix by rank of 17.6:35.3:47.1 does not meet the NUC approved guidelines in two categories. 3. Internet Hotpots are only available within the library complex. 4. Funding is inadequate for the programme. 5. The graduates’ job performance reports were issued by the University.

1. The University should ensure that the ratio/proportion of teaching staff core to the subject area provides for 75% or more of the teaching staff need. 2. The University should ensure a staff mix by rank of 20:35:45 in line with the NUC approved guidelines. 3. Internet Hotpots should be extended to other parts of the campus for ease of access to e-resources in the library. 4. The programme should be adequately funded. 5. The University should ensure that job performance reports other than its own should be provided for the programme.

The total score for the programme is 89.20%. It scored 34.5 (93.24%) in Academic Matters, 31 (88.57%) in Staffing, 24 (88.89%) in Physical Facilities, 16 (88.89%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and 1 (50.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended FULL accreditation status for the Programme.
