1. Staff mix by rank of 27:29:43 meets in only 2 categories.

2. Studio space is inadequate for the programme.

3. Equipment such as modern Art and craft tables art tracing projectors, easels and light tables are obsolete.

 

1. The University should ensure that the staff mix by rank meets in all categories.
2. The University should provide a standard studio space for the programme.
3. Standard equipment should be provided for the programme.

 

The total score for the programme is 89.08%. It scored 30 (90.91%)  in Academic Matters, 32 (91.43%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 3 (100.00%) in Research and Collaborations and (0.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
