5. The classrooms furniture are not well-maintained

8. Funding for the programme is inadequate

 

1. The University should ensure that practical work covers the curriculum adequately.
2. The University should ensure that all academic staff have a PhD degree
3. The University should ensure that all academic and non-academic staff benefit from staff development programmes
4. The University should provide Ripple Tank and Lee’s Conductivity apparatus for the programme
5. The University should ensure that all classrooms are well-maintained
6. The University should provide adequate office space for staff
7. The programme should engage in multidisciplinary research
8. The University should ensure that the programme is adequately funded

 

The total score for the programme is 84.00%. It scored 32 (86.49%)  in Academic Matters, 29 (82%) in Staffing, 22 (81.48%) in Physical Facilities, 17 (94.44%) in Library. The programme scored 1 (33.33%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
