1. Academic regulations for examination malpractices are not clearly and widely publicized in the student’s handbook
2. Practical work conducted are of good quality but did not cover the curriculum
3. None of the administrative staff benefitted from the staff development programme in the last three days
4. Funding for the programme is minimal

 

1. Academic regulations on examination malpractices should be clearly defined and widely publicized in the student’s handbook
2. The University should make effort to adequately cover the curriculum
3. The University should Involve the none teaching staff in the staff development programme especially in the area ICT, AI and maintenance to make more responsive to the programme
4. The University should increase funding for the programme

 

The total score for the programme is 90.40%. It scored 32 (86.49%)  in Academic Matters, 31 (88.57%) in Staffing, 26 (96.30%) in Physical Facilities, 18 (100.00%) in Library. The programme scored 2 (66.67%) in Funding, 2 (66.67%) in Research and Collaborations and 2 (100.00%) in Employers’ Rating. Based on the fact that the programme scored up to 70% and above in all four core components (Academic Matters, Staffing, Physical Facilities and Library), the Panel recommended  FULL accreditation status for the Programme.

B.    APPROVAL BY THE COMMISSION

Based on further analysis of the report, the Commission upholds the recommendation of  FULL accreditation status for the Programme
